This hands-on video of Racecraft marks our very last of the gameplay videos at this year's Gamescom.
Racecraft, which was inspired by Minecraft, is a racer which features prodecurally generated tracks and so in theory provides limitless track configurations for you to get your teeth into. The game, which is being described as a racing sandbox, will natively support VR with a hands-free interface for ease of use.
Alan gets behind the wheel of an early version of the game which is said to be receiving lots of small visual improvements soon. We have the gear markers turned on in the footage to help with learning the track as it is completely new to Alan, such is the nature of procedurally generated tracks.
Alan enjoyed his time with Racecraft which he felt was intuitive and fun. The handling felt very much on the simulation side of the spectrum although Alan feels the handling needs a little more work. The newly generated tracks felt good to drive on and had a pleasant flow to them.
