Following the news that Burnout Paradise will seemingly get a HD remaster, the title can be currently seen listed at a UK retailer priced for £34.99.
Base lists the title “Burnout Paradise HD” (shown with an RRP of £39.99) with a release date of March 30 which, if true, puts its release two weeks after the rumoured Japan release set for the sixteenth of the same month.
The original rumours date back to December when Burnout Paradise HD remaster for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One appeared on Brazilian site GamePress.
Details have yet to be revealed, however, the expectation is that the HD title will be a straight port with upgraded visuals.
Burnout Paradise, developed by Criterion Games, first released back in 2008 to critical acclaim, the Xbox 360 version sits at an aggregated score of 88 on Metacritic for instance. Burnout Paradise is set in an open-world playground packed with jumps, shortcuts and objects to smash through giving the player the ultimate sense of freedom.
