News New Thrustmaster Gran Turismo Sport wheel spotted at London event

With all the buzz surrounding this week's Gran Turismo Sport event, it's inevitable that some details will be overlooked. Indeed, as Alan was wandering around the showfloor, something caught his eye that wasn't mentioned during the presentation: it happened to be a new Thrustmaster Gran Turismo Sport branded wheel.
While Thrustmaster haven't disclosed any official details of the as-yet unnamed Thrustmaster Gran Turismo Sport wheel, just looking at the exterior materials suggest it's a premium peripheral aimed at the high-end market with its mix of metal, leather and chrome on the finish.
The metal paddle shifters that have featured on past models have also changed, sporting a slimmer design, the base is beastly and there are plenty of buttons mapping the PS4 controller. But perhaps the most interesting new design feature of the Thrustmaster Gran Turismo Sport wheel is the front-mounted analogue sticks – a first for a racing wheel.

This could well be a successor to the fabled Thrustmaster T500, which was also a high-end GT branded wheel released to mark the release of Gran Turismo 5.
We're expecting to find out more about the Thrustmaster Gran Turismo Sport wheel at E3, which is now less than a month away.
