Publisher: Milestone S.r.l

Release Date: 07/06/2018

A new behind the scenes video has been released by Milestone showing the lengths the Italian developer has gone to make MotoGP 18 as realistic as possible.

Scheduled to release on consoles and PC on June 7th with a Nintendo Switch release to follow soon after, MotoGP 18 will be the first game in the series to be powered by Unreal Engine 4 – a move that resulted in dramatic improvements to the visuals and physics in MXGP 3.

As shown in the video, Milestone has also used a Drone Scanning System to reproduce the game's official racetracks with 1:1 accuracy – and the results are clear to see. Every detail of the real-life circuits has been replicated with painstaking precision.

The facial likenesses of MotoGP's official riders have also been faithfully reproduced in the game thanks to a new 3D scanning system. The same system was also used in Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame.

MotoGP 18 will feature all 19 racetracks on the official 2018 season calendar, including the new Buriram International Circuit in Thailand.  All riders from the MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3, and Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup from this year's season will also feature. There will also be new cutscenes, a spectator mode, and brand new interactive tutorials, while the  AI, bike physics, and collision system have also been improved.

Expect to find out more information about MotoGP 18 between now and the game's official release on June 7th.
