Two gameplay elements that were completely absent from the recent GT Sport reveal were a damage model and any weather simulation. Thankfully Gran Turismo 's top man Kazunori Yamauchi has now confirmed that both features are planned for GT Sport.

According to Kaz, they have been working on a damage and weather system for GT Sport however don't get too excited as sadly it has been confirmed that the weather system will not be dynamic. Instead GT Sport will offer players several weather conditions to choose from pre-race.

On the performance side, developer Polyphony have confirmed they are aiming for 1080p resolution and 60fps which should come as no surprise. The recently revealed GT Sport build did have some frame rate issues but with months of optimisation time left I'm sure this will be ironed out well in time for GT Sport's launch in November.
