We are big fans of Resident Evil here at Team VVV and after some disappointing entries into the series, we were more than interested to play the seventh incarnation which promised to be returning to its survival horror roots.
The biggest change in Resident Evil VII is that the action now takes place from the first person perspective, a first for a main entry title. This of course makes it perfect for virtual reality and luckily Capcom adopted the technology with open arms to provide an experience that you will not forget in a hurry.
Graphically the game is very impressive with detailed rooms making them seem like a real place; it really places you in the mansion making it all the more frightening. We go through the first hour or so with the title avoiding any spoilers along the way, you can look out for our review very shortly.
