It's even more bad news for those eagerly awaiting the release of Assetto Corsa on the consoles as it has just received its second delay.

The new release for Assetto Corsa on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles is August 26 in Europe and August 30 for North America. Developer Kunos Simulazioni have so far not given any reasons for the second delay, however the first delay was to make sure the development team would have enough time to deliver the most polished experience on the consoles.

Assetto Corsa for the consoles was originally scheduled to release on April 22 but was then put back over a month with a new date of June 3. This new delay, just four weeks from that aforementioned date, sees a much heavier delay of close to three months.

Kunos have confirmed that the console versions of Assetto Corsa will contain over 90 high performance cars including the very awesome Pagani Zonda R, Ferrari LaFerrari and Mercedes C9. The racing sim will feature 27 different track configurations with Silverstone, Spa, Monza and the Nurburgring Nordschleife all featuring.

Also included are single and multiplayer racing modes with customisable race weekends, preset challenges and a “full-scale” Career mode. So scratch out that June date and re-mark your calanders for August.
