After penning Spring as the target release, Milestone have confirmed release date for their new bike racing IP Ride as March 20th for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
In what could be a preview of Ride's cover art, a new screenshot features an array of bike classes battling it out, clearly indicating the variety we can expect from Ride's 100+ licensed bikes spanning four classes: Superbikes, Supersports, Naked, and Historical. Considering its release is now officially only two months away, hopefully we'll start to see more gameplay screenshots and videos emerge as opposed to the laborious bike reveals that have been churned out as of late.
It's a curious date to choose for Ride's launch pad, too, as Project CARS is being released the same week. Granted, Project CARS doesn't feature bikes so some won't count it as direct competition, but it's still a major racing release that could steer some people away who can only justify buying one racing game that month.
Interestingly, Milestone made the same mistake with the PS4 release of MXGP, releasing it straight in the path of Forza Horizon 2 and DriveClub.
